Louth Driving Test Centre
Louth Driving Test Centre
Louth Driving Test Centre may return.
Louth may be the first town to trial a new style 'drop-in' driving test centre. The Department for Transport are amenable to the idea of trying this, in order to bring driver testing to the customer, rather than the other way round. This would be a reversal of the DSA's previous policy of closing driving test centres in smaller towns such as Louth, Gainsborough and Newark.
This move could, if it goes ahead, see car driving tests being conducted again in Louth. This would mean that candidates would no longer have to make the long round trip to either Grimsby, Skegness or Lincoln in order to sit their driving test.
